About Our School
A Christ-centered school in Copperas Cove, Texas — accredited by ACSI and built on a partnership with families.
Our Mission
Educating Godly students through a Biblical worldview
“The Mission of Providence Christian Academy Central Texas is to partner with families to educate Godly students through a Biblical worldview. PCA is committed to academic excellence through Christian education where students can discover God's providential plan for their lives as disciples of Jesus Christ.”
That mission shapes everything at PCA: the curriculum we choose, the teachers we hire, and the size of our classrooms. We exist to come alongside parents — not to replace them — as their children grow in knowledge, character, and faith.
Our History
From five people with a vision to a Central Texas academy
In 2021, five individuals were brought together by the Holy Spirit with a shared vision of establishing a Christian school in Lampasas. Through prayer, planning, and faithful preparation, Providence Christian Academy of Lampasas officially opened its doors in the fall of 2022.
For the next three years, PCA of Lampasas served families in the Lampasas area by providing a Christ-centered education grounded in Biblical truth and academic excellence.
In 2025, the school relocated to Copperas Cove and partnered with another local Christian school, Central Texas Baptist Academy. United by a common mission to equip students spiritually and academically, the schools joined together to form Providence Christian Academy Central Texas. Through this partnership, the academy successfully completed its fourth academic year and continues to serve families throughout Central Texas.
